- Thanks Jörn !
I Hope you will show us how you decided to paint it.
- Klaus, this little tutorial is pretty efficient, thanks for sharing it
Here it is two more declination of the truck: mover truck and TV production truck. A 4x2 version is to come.

OHA -

Michi

You right André.
I just assume that at some point a company might have use this version without windows.
Same for this 4x2 high body version:
And Just to see how far the bespoke concept can go, here is a vanguard longline cab

Re: Französisches in 3D-Druck - Reboot
Yowzah, now that's one marvellous piece of a truck!!!
While we're at it:
Last week came a box from shapeways...
...and was occupied the very instance - purrfect cat trap!
I guess, though, you're more interested in it's former contents:
Very nicely done. A warning about the remorqueur, however: The rear splashers are fixed to the frame by only one very fragile rod - I've broken two of them immedeately - so be very, very careful or glue them to the rear tyres before anything else!
Another point, which one might want to address: All cars have an open bottom, which is probably visible through the windows. I think, I'll close the DSs with apiece of paper, but I still have to think of something else for the trucks.

Re: Französisches in 3D-Druck - Reboot
- I'm glad to discover how the trucks looks like for real.
- Though I was expecting to see the new material "High Definition Acrylate" for the "High body" truck version. It seems that Shapeways removed it at the very last moment and swaped it with the "frosted extrem detail" material.
- Thanks for the feedback, I'll make something to fix the weakness of the rear fenders.
- Regarding the open bottom I'm going to include it for the next version designed for the new "High Definition Acrylate" material. Provided that shapeways truly release it.
- Can't wait to see how you are going to paint them !
- Have you tried to flip the cardbox vertically ? The two cats could fit inside.

Two part models would be ideal, with the body separate from the chassis/floor/interior. That would make painting and manning of the interior much more easy...ExLibris hat geschrieben: - Regarding the open bottom I'm going to include it for the next version designed for the new "High Definition Acrylate" material. Me too!ExLibris hat geschrieben: - Can't wait to see how you are going to paint them !
Not a good idea, really not a good idea - the two would form a critical mass, ending up in a tremendous catplosion...ExLibris hat geschrieben:

Let's just say: They can't get along without each other, but neither with!
