I am in love with Z-scale but I agree with Larry. 1/220 is not the smallest commercially available, produced in series, electric model railway system any more. I also think that T-scale in 20-30 years from now will not be "The smallest ..." any more as well.
It is also possible that in 20-30 years the idea of "produced in series" will have dofferent meaning. I can imagine that it will be possible to order from Marklin the locomotive as you order automobile from Volkswagen... You can have "ready to buy" stock standardized or already produced items but it will be possible to order with reasonable price difference locomotive or carrige with personalized number or BW name on it. Some variants (painting and small details for steamers) will be available. Probably not everything will be available but certain items from the list.
Well this is a little bit off-topic. Maybe worth another thread.
