Hmmm... knapp verfehlt, aber was soll's!
Jedenfalls waren Ende August auf der JAM schon die ersten ICEs in- und außerhalb der Verkaufspackung zu sehen (und einiges mehr):

Bei Hobby Search sind sie allerdings noch nicht zur Reservierung gelistet. Trotzdem: Es kommt langsam Bewegung in die Sache!

Aber was wird alles auf das ach so geduldige Carbonat einer CD oder DVD gepresst und geschrieben. Die Wiedergabe von diesen Scheiben ist dann eher eine Widergabe und für mich zum Knöchelchen speien. Aber die Industrie macht damit Millionen Gewinne. So ist es sicher auch mit den Shorties. Immerhin hat sich sogar damit ein Begriff geprägt, der die Unverwechselbarkeit beschreibt.

Der Preis ist aber für das Standmodell, wer in fahren sehen will, muss noch ein Motorchassis und zwei unmotorisierte kaufen - dann sind wir insgesamt schon dreistellig.

Ist aus meiner Sicht eher eine Einsteiger-Spielbahn, als Märklin My World, die man beim Umstieg auf eine Systembahn dann komplett in die Tonne drücken kann

Tja, die Zeiten, daß ein Shorty Chassis 12 bzw. 18€ gekostet hat, sind wohl vorbei. Das war aber bei der Gesammtlage dieser Welt auch nicht anders zu erwarten.
