Ja, aber was hat die mit den Sommerneuheiten 2025 gemein?

Wüste Spekulation: der ICE-V wurde nicht zufällig rausgekramt und aufgemöbelt, nach dem Lastrun Formenumbau zum ICE-1

To make it a little bit more clear about American models:

1. Big Boy in Z scale will come from AZL, not from Märklin. And it will be the plastic model (unlike the first two runs that were made of brass). Plastic has its own advantages - possibility of delivering higher level of smallest details and, obviously, much lower production costs. The fact that Märklin produced Big Boy in H0, 1 and N (Minitrix) doesn't mean that they will repeat it in Z. The reasons are obvious: a) Much smaller Z scale market; b) Big Boy is an American model; AZL rules here.

The new run of Big Boy locomotive in plastic was never announced yet, but the speculations were quite strong, especially after the announcement of re-run of GS-4 steam locomotive in plastic that should be rolled out in some observable future:

As for me, I am waiting for Big Boy in Z scale, too, and I would gladly purchase it. I don't expect that the plastic variant will cost more than $1000.

2. SBB Ae 8/14 has been indeed already announced by AZL in 2018. The model should have been delivered a year later, in 2019. However, due to the closure of the factory where AZL produced their brass models, the plans for this promising model have been postponed. According to the recent updates from AZL board, they managed to find the producer for their brass models again, so the plans on Z scale brass from AZL are expect to resume in the nearest time.

However, the overall situation with Z scale in the US is currently unclear due to well-knows reasons. Nevertheless, everyone hopes for the best and no one is about to give up.

Hi! Der 628 in mint wäre durchaus naheliegend.
Es fehlt auch glaub ich immer noch eine 111 mit GAM, in welcher Farbe auch immer.
Und die 221 bei einer Privatbahn in gelbschwarz wäre sicher auch ein Kracher beim Absatz.
Ich bin gespannt, vor 4 Tage Vorfreude…

Stimmt, danke Alex. Aber nur in dieser etwas abseitigen Lackierung.

Minitrix hat bei der Neuheiten-Vorstellung Anfang 2024 eine 111 in o/b (16721) angekündigt.
Vielleicht zieht Märklin in Spur Z ja jetzt nach.

Ein Silberling-Set mit Karlsruher Kopf-Steuerwagen und DB-Schnellzugwagen in o/b,
vor allem BDm und ABm, wären auch nicht schlecht. Vermisse ich schon länger.

Na ja die Hoffnungen auf echte Neuheiten sind doch bei den Sommer-Neuheiten sehr gering.
Im letzten Jahr gab es 4 Stk., davon den Weihnachts- und Magazinwagen, dann den Pantone
und in Bronze eine schlecht gemachte V32 DRG.
Also schauen wir mal und es kann eigentlich nur besser werden
