Also this year I will participate to this fair with the same modular layout of last September in Milan .

With Ugo Rossi, my layout partner, we did not find enough time to finalise a new module, so we rather concentrated in improving the robustness and reliability of the existing ones.

One thing I will bring extra is a diorama I made to showcase my models on the Italian three-phase system.
The diorama took inspiration from a beautiful picture by Werner Hardmeier
Bild
that shows three types of three-phase locomotives at the San Giuseppe di Cairo shed in the 70s.
So I have reproduced the scene in a 20 x 30 cmˆ2 diorama.

which can be populated with the same locs iun the picture

Everything, but the track, you see in the picture is 3D printed by me.
here are the three-phase locos I will bring to the fair

together with other DC locos sharing the same box.

In case you plan to visit the fair, my contribution is probably the only Z thing you will be able to see there, however there will be many beautiful layouts in N scale that are worth the visit.

Thank you all for the appreciation, and in particular Axel and Michael.

I will definitely report on my exhibition.

The electric locomotives will be on display on the diorama.
But I have another set of rolling stock that will instead run on the layout. These are all DCC models of loco/railcars that have actually run, in different eras, on the places represented in the modular layout.

The arrangement in the three boxes is just to optimise space for the trip.

In the future, we plan to actually run the three-phase locomotives on a specific module, which still need to manufacture. For the time being, without overhead line I do not like to run electric locomotives, if not on the testing oval.

So the Fair Is over.
Two days 09:00-18:00 spent standing close to the layout, talking to tens and tens, if not hundreds, of people explaining the why, what an how of the layout.
I am out of breath and my back hurts, but I am happy about the praise we received.

I managed to take one single movie where people do not appear. This shows one circuit loop of on Aln668 railcar.

This and the other rolling stock run continuously for the two days, causing amazement in the observers who apparently had negative preconcepts of the reliability of Z scale Rolling stock.

The wine and the cheese in the video are from the same area that the layout models. We shared a few of those the with the rest of the club members at lunch.
