Thank you very much for your appreciation of my new products!

Regarding version without printing: it is not planned so far. Prints and logos add realism to the models (especially when they are made with a direct printing technology instead of decals), and existing of two almost identical products together is not something I would prefer. However, if you really need exactly these loads, but without printing - this would be possible as a custom order.

I would also like to post an update about my previous pipe loads for type Snps stacked flatcars. These loads can be used with the following types of flatcars, too - Res 687/424, Sgs 693 and also newest Sgns 691 flatcar. Here are some samples:

Different from Res Sgns are missing the stakes. Could it be an idea to improve there and enhance the set?

Good idea - I was already thinking about it. First of all, I need to find more prototypical photos, since the samples I posted here are the only ones I managed to find. It looks like it is a CD Cargo's exclusive idea - to use Sgns flatcars for transporting pipes:





I'm not sure if DB, SBB or other operators do the same. Nevertheless, I will think about it in the future.

Hi friends,

I would like to introduce one more type of loads for flatcars and stake cars which enriches the family of wood cargo in Z scale - the slab wood. Long pieces of wood in various shapes remain after the primary processing of tree trunks at the sawmill. After that, they are collected into bundles and transported for further use in a variety of industries. Here is a prototype of this material for reference:

Although it is in general quite difficult to imitate this type of wood product in 1:220 scale, I managed to do it as close to the prototype as possible. For this, very thin (around 0.5 mm) wood sheets in varying colors were used - they have been cut into thin sticks, arranged into round bunches and tied with synthetic thread stabilized with invisible glue.

Then, the sets of 5 bunches were joined together to form loads for different types of flatcars. I decided to make the new load inserts versatile and to let each of them fit into multiple types of flatcars where possible. 4 different types are offered:

ZM-MRK-UNI-020A

Fits the following types of 4-axle flatcars - Snps 719, Res 687 and Res 424. Wooden bottom anti-slip supports prevent the load insert from sliding on type SNPS stake cars during motion:

This load insert fits only one type of 4-axle flatcars - DRG SSml/DB SSw 07. In order to prevent the load insert from sliding during motion, stakes (12 pieces) must be installed on the flatcar. They come in the package with the model:

I would also like to update the compatibility list of pipe loads originally designed for type Snps 4-axle stake cars ZM-MRK-SNPS-014A, ZM-MRK-SNPS-014B and ZM-MRK-SNPS-014C: I slightly modified anti-slip supports on the bottom side of these loads and they are now compatible also with type Res 687 and Res 424 4-axle stake cars.
